Murray-Darling Basin


The Murray-Darling Basin covers 1,061,469 square kilometers in south-east Australia, and is defined by the catchment areas of the River Murray and the Darling River, as well as their major tributaries. Further information can be obtained from the Murray-Darling Basin Commission (MDBC) website.
